Functieomschrijving
- Control the Group operations at Belgian and international level. Miscellaneous assignments are conducted by the Group Internal Audit department
- Control of the key projects and Group entities. The audit will encompass the operational and financial review. Thanks to your technical and business understanding, you will identify the risks and propose value-adding audit recommendations
- Control the key internal processes of the Group. You will identify, analyze and report on causes of inefficiencies and non-compliance with corporate policies. Propose improvements with respect to the internal processes and procedures in cooperation with the auditees
- Contribute to the sharing of best practices across the Group
- Special assignments and ad-hoc projects led by the department
- You will be playing a key role in the risk management level improvement within the projects and processes under review
- Discuss findings and recommendations with management and contribute to the reporting process towards the top management and the Audit Committee
- You report directly to the head of Internal Audit
Profiel
- University degree in Finance or Economics, engineering or other relevant field
- Both finance and processes analysis skills are required in view of the nature of the audit assignments performed
- You have 4 or 5 years of experience, including at least 3 years in external audit
- Very good knowledge of Dutch, English & French is required
- Analytical skills & critical approach are a must for this function
- Strong interpersonal and communicational skills are necessary to achieve pragmatic solution
- A strong team player profile is key in the context of a small team
- High level of integrity and loyalty are mandatory in this role
- You are motivated to enhance your technical skills (Certified Internal Auditor certification or other technical trainings are supported)
- You can deal with various cultural environments and adapt very quickly to situations
- Good general IT literacy (including MS Office) and affinity with ICT
- Willing to travel to different sites located in Europe, Africa and Middle East (approx. 30% travel)
